According to the Japanese electronic circuit industry (JPCA) released the latest statistics show that in 2017 March the Japanese printed circuit board (PCB; hard + soft board + module substrate) yield compared with the same month last year growth of 7.5% to 1 million 250 thousand square meters, fifth consecutive months of growth; yield growth of 1.9% yen to 40 billion 196 million yen, 16 months the first growth.
Types of view, Japan in March (Rigid PCB) and yield compared with the same month last year growth of 7.2% to 874 thousand square meters, eighth consecutive months of growth; yield growth of 2.5% yen to 26 billion 774 million yen, fifth consecutive months of growth.
Flexible PCB production grew 6.1% to 313 thousand square meters, the fourth consecutive month of growth, the yield increased by 3 (28.9%) to 4 billion 521 million yen, for fourth consecutive months of growth.
Module Substrates production grew 18.8% to 63 thousand square meters, rising for the fifth month in a row, and production shrank by 9.5% to 8 billion 901 million yen for the twelfth month in a row.
During the 1-3 months of 2017, PCB production in Japan grew by 8.7% to 3 million 636 thousand square meters, compared with the same period of last year, and production declined by 2.1% to 113 billion 638 million yen.
Among them, and 7.3% to 2 million 533 thousand square meters of production growth, yield growth of 1.2% to 74 billion 797 million yen; soft board output growth of 11.5% to 926 thousand square meters, the yield growth of 11.6% to 14 billion 175 million yen; output growth of 13.4% module board to 176 thousand square meters, the yield fell 16.4% to 24 billion 666 million yen.
